David M. Boyd, D.M.D.

Dr. David was born and raised in Caruthersville, Missouri. He attended Murray State University and graduated in the spring of 1986 with a bachelor's degree in agriculture. In 1987, Mr. Boyd went on to Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine, where he completed his dental degree in the spring of 1992. He opened his first successful dental practice later that same year in Portageville, Missouri. After 16 years of hard work and dedication, Dr. Boyd and his wife, Julie, were fortunate enough to purchase a second dental practice from retiring dentist, Dr. Clarence Wilson in Caruthersville, Missouri. Dr. Boyd is a member of the American Dental Association, Missouri Dental Association and the Southeast Missouri Dental Association.

Dr. Boyd's wife, Julie, joined the "We Care Team" in 2005. She also attended Murray State University receiving both a bachelor's and a master's degree in elementary education in 1986.

Dr. Boyd and Julie make their home in Portageville, Missouri. They are the proud parents of two loving daughters, Jenna and Amy. Jenna and her husband, Zach Witbart, make their home in Gilbertsville, Kentucky, where they are raising their daughter, Evie Elizabeth. Amy is busy pursuing a degree in nursing.

Dr. Boyd and Julie are two of the founding members of Living Stone Baptist Church in Portageville, Missouri. They are deeply committed to growing and nurturing the congregation and spend a great many hours in support of their mission. Dr. Boyd is an accomplished chef and enjoys preparing and serving breakfast to the entire congregation every Sunday. He and Julie enjoy spending time with their family and traveling.
